Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education in Glasgow is hiring a Nursery Cook to prepare simple, nutritious meals for young children, with two hot meals daily. You will maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen, follow Health and Safety standards and help support healthy eating habits.

The role is based at Happitots Baillieston, offers 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am–3pm with no weekend work, and a competitive hourly rate of £13.25.

Qualifications

• As Nursery Cook you will prepare simple nutritious meals for young children.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety in the kitchen.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and tea.
• Oversee kitchen cleanliness and sanitation to meet high standards.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.
