Job summary

Your Care Jobs Ltd is seeking a Nursery Cook to provide healthy meals for children in a Welsh nursery. The role runs from 9am to 4pm, five days per week, with flexible options, and operates all year round.

You will promote nutritious eating, work within a collaborative team, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment while catering to allergies and dietary requirements. Responsibilities include upholding hygiene standards, sanitizing surfaces and equipment, and ensuring proper waste disposal

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for children preferred.
• Strong kitchen hygiene and safety awareness.
• Able to follow dietary requirements and allergen handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene to high standards.
• Follow food safety guidelines and Welsh regulations (FSA/HACCP where applicable).
• Regularly sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment and waste handling.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and safe storage to prevent contamination.
