Job summary

Kids Planet is seeking a Nursery Cook at our Wythenshawe setting to provide healthy, balanced meals for children. You’ll work Monday to Friday with no weekends or bank holidays, bringing creativity to menus and ensuring allergy-aware options.

You will join a supportive team, access KP Academy training, and enjoy benefits including free meals, enhanced holiday leave, and a strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Catering experience in a nursery or similar environment.
• Basic Food Hygiene certification required.
• Knowledge of special dietary needs and allergens helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals for children, accommodating allergies and dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean, compliant kitchen and uphold EH standards.
• Collaborate with nursery staff during snack-making and baking activities.

Being a Nursery Cook at Kids Planet gives you the opportunity to work Monday to Friday, NO WEEKENDS or BANK HOLIDAYS and allows you to be inventive creating menus and giving our children access to delicious tasting meals.

How you’ll make a difference as a Nursery Cook:

What a Nursery Cook needs:
