Job summary

Kids Planet Greenbank is looking for a Nursery Cook to join our friendly team. You’ll prepare healthy meals for children, cater for allergies and dietary needs, and help create tasty, nutritious menus in a clean kitchen.

Work days are Monday to Friday with no weekends or bank holidays. We offer training through KP Academy, generous holiday entitlement, and a supportive central team to help you thrive in our caring, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Catering experience in a similar environment is preferred.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is required or essential.
• Knowledge of food preparation for special dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals, accommodating allergies and special dietary requirements for all children.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen, ensuring compliance with environmental health standards.
• Collaborating with children and the nursery team in snack-making and baking activities.
