Job summary

Kids Planet Hagley Road is seeking a Nursery Cook on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will work Monday to Friday, with no weekends or Bank Holidays, preparing healthy meals and supporting children’s dietary needs.

Join a Montessori setting with strong transport links and a supportive central team. We provide accredited training through the KP Academy and celebrate staff with wellbeing initiatives and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Catering experience in a nursery or similar environment.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Knowledge of dietary needs and allergies helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals, accommodating allergies and dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean, tidy kitchen and ensure EH standards are met.
• Collaborate with children and staff in snack-making and baking activities.

How you’ll make a difference as a Nursery Cook:

What a Nursery Cook needs:
