Job summary

Kids Planet Basford is seeking a Nursery Cook to join our caring team, where meals fuel curious minds and healthy choices matter. You’ll plan and prepare nutritious menus for children, accommodating allergies and dietary needs, in a warm, safe kitchen.

Working Monday to Friday with no weekends or bank holidays, you’ll be supported by KPI Academy training, competitive pay, and benefits that reflect our family-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Catering experience, preferably in a similar environment.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Knowledge of food preparation for special dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals accommodating allergies and dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen ensuring compliance with health standards.
• Collaborate with children and nursery team in snack-making and baking activities.

Being a Nursery Cook at Kids Planet gives you the opportunity to work Monday to Friday, NO WEEKENDS or BANK HOLIDAYS and allows you to be inventive creating menus and giving our children access to delicious tasting meals.
