Job summary

Kids Planet Day Nurseries Limited is seeking a Nursery Cook to join our team. This role involves preparing healthy meals, accommodating allergies, and maintaining a clean kitchen within a nursery environment.

You will work Monday to Friday with no weekends or bank holidays, and you will have opportunities for training through KP Academy and other development programs.

Qualifications

• Experience catering for children or in a nursery setting.
• Ability to adapt menus for allergies and dietary needs.
• Ability to work cleanly and safely in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals accommodating allergies and special dietary requirements for all children.
• Maintain a clean kitchen and ensure compliance with environmental health standards.
• Collaborate with children and the nursery team in snack-making and baking activities.
• Cater with experience, preferably in a similar environment.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Knowledge of food preparation for special dietary needs.

Being a Nursery Cook at Kids Planet gives you the opportunity to work Monday to Friday, NO WEEKENDS or BANK HOLIDAYS and allows you to be inventive creating menus and giving our children access to delicious tasting meals.
