Footsteps Nursery Cannock is seeking a reliable and hardworking Nursery Housekeeper to help keep our nursery clean, safe and welcoming for children, families and staff.

As Nursery Housekeeper, you will maintain playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas to the highest standards, with flexible hours ideal for parents, students, or anyone seeking a regular part-time role.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual.

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and COSHH procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptying bins
• Cleaning and disinfecting children's bathrooms, nappy changing areas, and high-touch surfaces
• Supporting laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organising nursery linen
• Assisting with washing up and maintaining cleanliness within kitchen areas
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately
• Monitoring cleaning stock levels and reporting replenishment requirements
• Following Health & Safety, COSHH, infection control, and safeguarding procedures at all times
• Supporting periodic deep cleaning tasks as required
• Working closely with the nursery team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all
