Job summary

Oasis Skinner Street Primary School is opening a new Nursery in January 2027. We seek a qualified Nursery/EYFS teacher to lead a dedicated classroom within our academy, creating a safe, engaging environment where young children can grow in confidence and early learning skills.

You will work closely with the EYFS Lead and the Oasis Skinner Street family, developing strong family partnerships and contributing to a high-quality educational experience for the youngest learners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Nursery/EYFS classroom and supporting families with transition into Nursery/School.
• Passion for education of young children and ability to deliver engaging activities.
• Desire to bring innovation and interactivity to teaching and reach for excellence.
• Ability to quickly develop rapport with all members of the school community and maintain boundaries.

Are you a fun, nurturing Nursery / Early Years professional with excellent people-skills? Do you have experience working with Nursery / Reception children, and are ready to develop your expertise even further?

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher with proven Nursery / Early Years experience to work in our purpose built new Nursery opening in January 2027. Located within our well-established academy, you will play an important role in creating a safe, engaging and stimulating environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills.

Having invested heavily in our Academy, including our Nursery and EYFS area, we are seeking an innovative and energetic practitioner to take this to the next level. Working in partnership with the EYFS Lead, you will make your mark on the Academy and create an exceptional educational environment for the youngest students, setting them up for success.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Creating a caring, stimulating and engaging environment that enables all pupils to learn effectively, mindful of the fact that some pupils, will not have experience attending a similar setting
• Planning and preparing lessons and learning activities appropriate for the age group and ability of the children in the class
• Actively participating in the Oasis Skinner Street family, working to ensure the best outcomes for all children, and supporting the wider community
