Job summary

The Storal group is seeking a Nursery Chef/Cook for Tiny Tots Nursery School in Basingstoke. You will prepare nutritious meals and maintain the highest food safety standards in the nursery kitchen to support children's healthy development.

Hours are Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with a salary up to £13.91 per hour depending on qualification and experience. Level 2 Food & Hygiene and kitchen experience are essential, along with COSHH and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food and Hygiene
• Experience in a commercial kitchen as an assistant cook/chef or something very similar
• Knowledge ofHealth and Safety regulations and COSHH

Responsibilities

• Catering for children with specific dietary needs
• Working to an extremelyhigh level when it comes to the relevantFood and Hygiene,Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health and Safety and Ofsted guidelines and regulations
• Ensuring thatall children have rich stimulating eating experiences
• Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation
• Following COSHH and other relevant guidelines
