Storal in Basingstoke is seeking a Nursery Assistant Chef/Cook for part-time hours (Mon-Fri, 12:00–16:00). You will support the Nursery Cook, preparing nutritious meals and upholding high safety and hygiene standards in the nursery kitchen.
Applicants should hold Level 2 Food and Hygiene and have experience in a commercial kitchen; duties include catering for dietary needs and stock management, with deputising duties during absences.
Nursery: Tiny Tots Nursery School, Down Grange Farmhouse, Basingstoke, RG22 5SN
Hours: Part Time, Monday-Friday 12m to 4pm
Salary: up to £12.88 per hour (depends on qualification and experience)

How you’ll spend your time here As a Nursery Assistant Chef/Cook, you will provide essential support during periods of leave, absence, or when additional help is needed. Working closely with the Nursery Cook, you’ll assist in preparing nutritious, freshly made meals while maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene in the nursery kitchen at all times. Your flexibility and reliability will ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen during these periods.
