Grandir UK Limited is hiring a Nursery Chef in Melton Mowbray. The role focuses on cooking meals for children, developing six monthly menus with input from catering staff and regional managers, and ensuring high catering standards daily.

You will support the Nursery Manager and catering team, participate in recruitment, and maintain accurate kitchen paperwork. A strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and quality across our nursery operations is core to this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare six monthly menus and gather feedback from staff and regional managers.
• Support and guide catering staff and Nursery Manager.
• Monitor catering standards to maintain high levels of practice.
• Assist in recruitment and selection of catering staff.
• Audit kitchens to meet required standards and keep paperwork up to date.
• Establish professional working relationships with nursery staff.
