Job summary

RAFAKidz Nursery, RAF Wittering, Peterborough, is seeking a Nursery Chef Level 3 qualification essential. This on-site role offers 30 hours per week at £13.80 per hour, with duties focusing on planning, preparing and serving nutritious meals for our children.

You will manage ordering, storage and rotation of kitchen stock, ensure hygiene to EH standards and support a safe, welcoming kitchen environment. DBS check required on appointment and every three years.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in food hygiene.
• Excellent knowledge of Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency regulations.
• DBS check required on appointment and every three years.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and serve age-appropriate, nutritious meals and snacks for children.
• Order, store and rotate kitchen stock and maintain hygiene.
• Ensure highest cleanliness in line with EH regs.
