Job summary

RAFAKidz Nursery at RAF Wittering, Peterborough, is seeking a Nursery Chef with Level 3 Food Hygiene. This full-time role offers 30 hours per week at £13.80 per hour, delivering nutritious meals for young children.

You will plan, prepare and serve meals, manage kitchen stock, and maintain high hygiene standards in line with Environmental Health requirements, supporting an inclusive nursery environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in food hygiene is essential.
• Knowledge of current Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency legislation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and serve age-appropriate, nutritious meals and snacks.
• Order, control, store and rotate kitchen stock; ensure hygiene and cleanliness.
• Work with Kitchen Assistants to maintain high standards of safety and hygiene.
