Job summary

Storal Learning Ltd is seeking a Nursery Chef/Cook to support multiple nurseries in the North East Sheffield area. You will prepare nutritious, freshly made meals for children while upholding the highest safety and hygiene standards.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to cover holidays and sickness. Level 2 Food Hygiene and kitchen experience are essential, as is a passion for feeding children well.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification is required.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen as an assistant cook/chef.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, freshly made meals for nursery children daily.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Manage stock levels and rotate stock to minimise waste.
• Adapt meals for children with specific dietary needs.
• Follow COSHH and relevant guidelines.
