Job summary

Lake House Day Nursery in Westbury-on-Trym, part of Grandir UK, is seeking a Nursery Chef to cook for children with creativity and care, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, within a supportive team.

You’ll contribute to menu planning, adapt recipes based on children's preferences, and help ensure high standards of hygiene and nutrition in a nursery setting. This role offers progression opportunities and a variety of benefits.

Lake House Day Nursery in Westbury-on-Trym, part of Grandir UK, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Nursery Chefto join our supportive, child-focused team.

Looking for a cooking role with daytime hours? This could be the opportunity for you.

You’ll work 8:00am–5:00pm, giving you a consistent daytime working pattern while allowing you to use your cooking skills and creativity in a nursery environment.

Our Early Years Specialist supports the menu, helping ensure the food provided meets the needs of our children. As our Nursery Cook, you’ll then have the opportunity to bring your own experience and creativity into the kitchen when preparing the meals.

And importantly, we listen to the children. If they don’t enjoy something, you have the autonomy to adapt the recipe and try a different approach. We want children to enjoy mealtimes, explore different foods and develop a positive relationship with food.

What will you be doing
