Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a Nursery Assistant to join a private day nursery in YO30 on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support children's learning through engaging activities, help maintain a safe, stimulating environment, and work closely with the team to meet EYFS standards.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years is desirable.
• Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• A hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
• A willingness to learn, develop new skills and progress within Early Years.

Responsibilities

• The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start and will support children's learning and development through engaging activities.
• Help maintain a safe and stimulating environment.
• Work closely with the nursery team to deliver high standards of care in line with EYFS.
