Acorn Early Years is hiring a Bank Nursery Assistant for our Burton Latimer nursery. The role focuses on supporting a holistic curriculum, meeting basic caregiving needs, and maintaining children’s well-being.

You will work within Acorn’s ethos, applying EYFS and safeguarding practices while aiding day-to-day operations and teamwork. Applicants must be flexible to cover shifts as needed; DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Understanding safeguarding policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support holistic curriculum delivery and daily routines.
• Maintain high well-being and positive interactions with children.
• Assist with planning in the moment and observations.
• Support with safeguarding and key person role.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth day-to-day activities.
