TeacherActive is working with nurseries across York to recruit for both temporary and permanent Nursery Assistant roles, including day-to-day cover for sickness or annual leave. These nurseries cater to children aged 5 and under, ensuring their safety and supporting their learning and development.

We are seeking flexible Nursery Assistants to provide cover across York nurseries. This role is ideal for individuals seeking part-time work around college or university studies and those interested in gaining experience in the Early Years sector. The position offers flexible hours, allowing applicants to choose their availability. Previous experience caring for children under 5 is required.

The successful Nursery Assistants will:

• Be eager to learn and develop skills in the Early Years sector
• Be enthusiastic about training in areas such as Safeguarding and the EYFS Curriculum
• Have a caring and positive attitude towards working with children
