Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Nursery Assistant for a welcoming nursery in Usk. This part-time, flexible role runs through the summer holidays with an immediate start, supporting children with daily routines and learning through play in a caring environment.

You will assist with personal care, nap times and play-based activities, contributing to a safe and engaging experience for every child. Level 2 childcare is desirable, EYFS knowledge and nursery experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Level 2 childcare qualification is desirable.
• Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting.
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• The ability to support children's learning through play.
• Flexibility and reliability to work part time shifts throughout the summer holidays.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a part time, flexible basis throughout the summer holidays with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children with daily routines including personal care, nap times and play-based learning activities, helping to create a positive and enjoyable experience for every child.

Requirements

• Level 2 Childcare qualification is desirable
• Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
