Salary: £14.25 to £14.80 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of welcoming early years settings in Burry Port and across surrounding areas, including private day nurseries, Flying Start settings and Cylch Meithrins. Each setting is committed to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive through play and exploration.

We are looking to recruit dedicated Nursery Assistants for both short-term and long-term opportunities starting in September. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children throughout their daily routines, encourage learning through play, assist with personal care where required and work closely with nursery staff to ensure every child receives the highest standard of care and education.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable
• Experience supporting children within nursery or early years settings
• Good understanding of child development and early years best practice
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A willingness to get involved and support children's development
