Job summary

Bournville Primary School in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a nursery assistant to support EYFS learning part-time. You will help plan and deliver engaging activities, work with a caring team, and create nurturing spaces for early learners.

We value positive, flexible team players who are passionate about helping children grow. Experience with SEND or Makaton is desirable; safeguarding and inclusive practice are important to us.

Are you passionate about early years education? Join our vibrant nursery and preschool team at Bournville Primary School in Weston-super-Mare, where we deliver exceptional learning experiences for our youngest children.

We’re looking for a caring, energetic nursery assistant who’s ready to make a real difference in children’s lives. You’ll work alongside a skilled and supportive team within our high-quality Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision.

Hours: 15 hours per week, including 15 INSET hours per academic year (term time only)

Salary: £9,081.04 per year

Permanent contract

Closing date: 15 September 2026

Interview date: 21 September 2026

Start date: as soon as possible
