ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd is currently recruiting for a Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming Montessori nursery setting in Oxford on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will work as part of a dedicated Montessori team, supporting children's care, learning and development day-to-day while helping to maintain a calm, nurturing learning environment and routines.

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification is desirable.
• Montessori qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Previous Early Years or nursery experience would be beneficial.

Nursery Assistant

Location: Oxford, OX1
Contract: Fixed-term, 12 months (maternity cover)
Hours: Full-time
Pay: From £12.71 per hour, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd is currently recruiting for a Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming Montessori nursery setting in Oxford on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Working as part of a dedicated Montessori team, you will help create a calm, purposeful and nurturing environment where children can develop confidence, concentration, independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.

This is a hands‑on role where you will support children's care, learning and development on a day‑to‑day basis, while helping to maintain the nursery environment and supporting practical life activities and everyday routines.

You will work closely with the room's Guides and contribute positively to the smooth running of the setting.
