Nursery Assistant Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will provide day-to-day cover and work on short- or long-term placements within nurseries across the local area. This role offers a great opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience.

1. Ensure children are safe, happy, and stimulated.
2. Communicate with children through play.
3. Create a child-friendly environment.
4. Maintain toys and play equipment.
5. Keep records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
• NVQ level 2/3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent (desirable).
