Job summary

Qualified Nursery Practitioner role in Hinckley, LE10, full-time permanent with TeacherActive partner nursery. You will plan and deliver EYFS activities, support children's development, and foster a safe, nurturing environment.

You will build strong relationships with children and families, observe learning journeys, and work closely with the team to provide high-quality childcare. Level 3 childcare or equivalent preferred; competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years or equivalent.
• Previous nursery/early years experience.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child development.

Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a

full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to become part of a friendly Early Years team, build meaningful relationships with children and families, and help little learners thrive in a fun and nurturing environment.

What Will You Be Doing?

Planning and delivering fun, engaging activities in line with the EYFS

Encouraging learning through play, exploration and creativity

Supporting children's emotional, social and physical development

Creating a safe, stimulating and welcoming learning environment

Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

Carrying out observations and supporting children's individual learning journeys

Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care

Working closely with the nursery team to provide high-quality childcare

What Are We Looking For?

Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years or equivalent

Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting

A good understanding of the EYFS framework

Knowledge of safeguarding and child development

A caring, patient and nurturing personality

Someone creative who loves getting involved in messy play, singing and storytelling!

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and develop
