Job summary

Family First Nurseries Group in High Wycombe is seeking a Nursery Assistant to join our Baby Room. This part-time role requires 15 hours per week and operates year-round.

You will support child safety and development, assist with EYFS requirements and maintain accurate records in EyLog. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for development and recognition.

Qualifications

• EYFS framework knowledge including staff:child ratios.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times.
• Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:child ratios.
• Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, appropriate to their age and development.
• Strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent.
• Observe and support children’s development, update EyLog and learning journals with accuracy, seek guidance when needed.
• Provide all-around daily needs of children: physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.

We are currently seeking a Nursery Assistant to join ourteam in our Baby Room. This part-time role requires working 15 hours per week. Please note, this is a year-round position, as the nursery operates throughoutthe year and is not term-time only.

As Nursery Assistant, you will:
