Job summary

Saxon Primary School and Nursery in Greater London is seeking an Early Years Nursery Assistant to support learning through play in our Nursery for 31.25 hours per week during term time (38 weeks per year). The role is permanent, with a salary of PS3 £17,704 actual (£24,330 FTE).

We offer staff training opportunities, support to study for Higher Level Teaching qualifications, and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme. A collaborative, supportive team awaits.

Job description

Do you have a passion for Early Years teaching? Saxon Primary School and Nursery is a friendly school with a diverse catchment and a wonderful team spirit. The Saxon Primary School Nursery provides Early Education places to children aged 2 to 4 years prior to their entry to school. We are looking to recruit an Early Years Nursery Assistant to work in our Nursery, who is not afraid to immerse themselves in the children’s play. We are looking for someone who can be flexible and support learning in a creative way.

Working Hours – 31.25 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks per year), to be worked 8:30am to 3:15pm Monday to Friday. This role is a permanent position.
