Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a small independent nursery in LS19 to recruit a Nursery Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis. This family-feel setting offers a warm, nurturing environment for children aged 0-5, with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning.

You will support learning through engaging activities, help maintain a safe, stimulating space, and build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, starting immediately.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning through outdoor play and storytelling.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small independent nursery in LS19 that is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis. This family-feel nursery provides a warm, nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years, encouraging curiosity through outdoor play, imaginative learning and a love of storytelling.

The nursery is looking for a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join their friendly team with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children's learning and development across the nursery, helping to deliver engaging activities, maintain a safe and stimulating environment, and build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a nursery or early years setting
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning through outdoor play and storytelling
