Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £10.00 - 12.50 per hour

TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery located in Harrogate. The nursery cares for up to 80 children throughout the day, with the current staff team working hard to ensure the children are in a safe and secure environment and are supported as they settle in to nursery and progress throughout their development. The staff are passionate about ensuring the best possible care and support for all children in attendance at the nursery, working with the parents to ensure that the interests and well-being of the children are kept at the heart of their planning and day-to-day activities.

The nursery are currently searching for a Nursery Assistant to join their growing team. The successful applicant doesn’t need to hold any existing childcare qualifications, but must be passionate about working with young children and eager to learn and develop their own skill set and undergo training on the EYFS and Safeguarding policies and procedures. The successful Nursery Assistant will be hard-working and reliable, as well as able to work well within a team environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will:

• Be passionate about working with young children and able to create activities which are based on their interests and developmental needs
• Be eager to join a friendly and welcoming team
• Be willing to undergo training on current Safeguarding policies and procedures.
