Job summary

Magisters in London is seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming independent school in Russell Square. You will care for children aged 2–3, support play-based learning, and work with a collaborative nursery/teaching team.

The role is full-time, term-time only, 8:30am–3:30pm, with an initial one-year contract and ASAP start. A caring, enthusiastic approach and safeguarding knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Location: Russell Square, London WC1B

Salary: Up to £115 per day

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only – Long Term (1 Year Initially)

The Role

• Work closely with children aged 2–3 years old.

• Work closely with the nursery and teaching team.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years/Nursery qualification.
• Has experience working with children aged 2–3 years old.
• Has previous experience in a nursery, school or early years setting.
• Is warm, caring, patient and enthusiastic.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS.
