GSL Education are looking for a Nursery Assistant across client schools located in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire for the upcoming term of September 2024 . The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the emotional development of young children. Job Summary: The role of a Nursery Assistant is pivotal in supporting the daily operations and development of children within a nursery or early childhood setting in school.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily care routines including feeding, diaper changing, and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Engaging children in play-based learning activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and problem-solving skills.
• Engage children in educational activities that promote their physical, cognitive, and social development.
• Support indoor and outdoor play, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
• Communicating effectively with parents about their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as record-keeping, attendance, and preparing learning materials.
• Follow nursery policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of all students.

The Essential Requirements for Successful Nursery Assistant:

• Genuine enthusiasm and a deep-seated passion for working with young children.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong listening skills to understand and respond to the needs of children and their families.
