Job summary

Kindred Nurseries in the United Kingdom is offering an Early Years Apprentice position. You will learn across the Early Years Practitioner role with a dedicated mentor, gaining hands-on experience while studying for Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications.

The role focuses on supporting children’s learning and development, observing progress, and helping create a safe nursery environment. Successful apprentices advance into permanent roles with structured training and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• Work towards achieving a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Learn all aspects of the Early Years Practitioner role with mentor support.
• Support children to learn, play and develop through engaging activities.
• Observe children’s learning and contribute to development records.
• Assist in creating a safe, stimulating nursery environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Learn safeguarding, health and safety, and child development basics.
• Collaborate within a supportive nursery team.
• Develop confidence and skills through structured learning and practical experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

What You’ll Need

Essential

• A genuine passion for working with young children.

• Previous experience with children (although full training will be provided).
