Job summary

Avon And Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Nhs Trust's Early Intervention Team in Bath is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide care for people aged 14-64 experiencing a first episode of psychosis. You will contribute to evidence-based psychosocial interventions and work closely with service users, carers and families.

You will plan and implement specialist programmes of care, act as care co-ordinator, liaise with other agencies, and co-facilitate educational and support groups.

Qualifications

• Qualified mental health nurse registered with NMC.
• Experience in early intervention preferred.
• Experience in community health settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver specialist nursing interventions for first-episode psychosis.
• Provide care coordination and liaise with carers and families.
• Co-facilitate social and therapeutic groups.
• Deliver psychoeducation and support to service users.
• Undertake audits and participate in research activities.
