A healthcare provider in Shrewsbury is seeking a Band 6 Nurse Specialist for a permanent position in the Anticoagulation team. The role involves providing telephone dosing advice, managing patient caseloads, and ensuring effective communication among patients and healthcare teams. An opportunity has arisen within the Anticoagulation team for a permanent post as a Band 6 Nurse Specialist. The team are based in Pathology at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and use the Dawn software to manage the patient caseload.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised nurse to provide telephone dosing advice to a range of patients, complying with national guidelines. You will be able to communicate effectively with the patient, their carers, their GP and staff providing the clinical and laboratory services. A caring and patient disposition is essential.
