Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated nurse practitioner to join our ever-growing team. The role will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services in a digital setting. Your primary responsibilities will involve prescribing and conducting virtual consultations, ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions, and offering professional medical advice. You will collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct virtual consultations to assess patient health concerns and medical histories.
2. Prescribe medications and review and verify prescription requests.
3. Offer expert guidance to patients regarding medication use, potential side effects, and health management.
4. Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
5. Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements, including those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and medical boards.

Requirements

1. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwives Council.
2. Prescribing Qualification.
3. Trained in Weight Management services.
4. Previous experience in an online clinical setting is preferred.
5. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and clinical guidelines.
6. Commitment to patient-centred care and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
7. Strong analytical skills for assessing patient needs and making informed prescribing decisions.
