Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered General Nurse to join the Oral Maxillofacial and Orthodontic Surgery Outpatients. You will provide nursing care, perform assessments, and run nurse-led dressings clinics three days a week in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and valid practice status.
• Experience in surgical nursing or outpatient settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care in the Oral Maxillofacial and Orthodontic Outpatients Department.
• Undertake nursing assessments, plan care, and coordinate with MDT members.
• Deliver nurse-led dressings clinics and support patients through assessment, treatment and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records, follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Contribute to clinic efficiency and patient pathways within a busy outpatient environment.
