Job Opportunity: Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Planning Support

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the UK's largest healthcare systems employing around 40,000 staff, is offering a fixed-term (12 months) position within its Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions (NMAHP) Directorate. The role involves supporting workforce planning processes, utilizing staffing level tools, and collaborating with various teams to ensure effective staffing and compliance with national standards.

Details:

• Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working (remote and in-person) based at JB Russell House, Gartnavel Campus. Part-time hours and pro-rata salary are available.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with Senior Nurses and Midwives to facilitate workforce planning.
• Supporting the application of nationally validated staffing tools and the Common Staffing Method.
• Partnering with Workforce Analytics and other directorates to analyze staffing data and trends.
• Supporting compliance with the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019, including delivering roster master class sessions and supporting Real Time Staffing implementation.
