Job summary

Hutchinson Care Homes is seeking a Deputy Nurse Manager for Antrim Care Home to work in partnership with the Registered Care Home Manager and lead the nursing team across shifts. You will champion high standards of nursing practice, oversee clinical records, ensure governance, and develop staff while building strong relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• RMN/RGN with at least 3 years post-qualifying experience.
• Leadership experience in managing a care home team.
• Experience with older/elderly or dementia patients; knowledge of care standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop the nursing team to achieve objectives.
• Ensure compliance with RQIA, NMC and Trust standards; governance of the Home.
• Manage staffing, rotas, budgets and records; liaison with families and external partners.
• Promote patient-centred care and maintain a safe, clean, infection-controlled environment.
