Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced nursing leader to drive clinical excellence and patient outcomes. The role includes supervising the nursing team, coordinating staffing, and supporting education and revalidation of staff on shift.

The Nurse in Charge/Coordinator will ensure high-quality, evidence-based care on the inpatient ward or SACT unit, using Healthroster and Safe Care to manage staffing and safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Provide visible leadership and maintain standards of clinical excellence.
• Assess patient care needs and plan/evaluate care.
• Oversee unsupervised care on shift.
• Ensure safe staffing and skill mix.
• Fulfil revalidation and professional registration requirements.
