Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Milton Keynes is seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 nurse to join the Neonatal team. You will work clinical shifts and as nurse in charge, delivering high‑quality care to premature infants within a multidisciplinary team.

To work in collaboratively with the MDT to provide the highest standard of clinical nursing care to premature infants through multidisciplinary working and evidence-based practice.

To deliver high quality patient care on a daily basis. The post holder should be knowledgeable in all areas of nursing care including resuscitation and stabilisation, admission to discharge, which facilitates clinical practice development. They will actively support the Senior Sisters, ensuring the effective running of the unit on a daily basis.

We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join our team. You will be taking on clinical shifts as well as nurse in charge roles; therefore, you would need to have completed the Neonatal Intensive Care Course and passed the NLS. Aside from clinical knowledge and skills, time management, communication, organisation and leadership skills are crucial to this role. We value passion and professional attitude and believe that Band 6s play a integral role in modelling and development within the team.
