• Substantial post-registration experience in acute care.
• Experience in managing a team and leading nursing staff.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively to develop services.

Responsibilities

• Overall management and leadership of the ward including administration and the coordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting and auditing of standards of care.
• Lead a team of qualified nurses to ensure delivery of excellent patient care.
• Be accountable for the quality of care within the clinical area by nursing leadership.
• Work collaboratively with others to develop services for patients within clinical areas.
