Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Nurse Hysteroscopist to join the Gynaecology Team. The role focuses on delivering outpatient hysteroscopy services, with emphasis on high-quality care for women with abnormal uterine bleeding and other gynaecological conditions.

The postholder will assess patients, obtain informed consent, perform procedures (where trained), and ensure safe, compassionate care across the treatment pathway while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Experience in outpatient hysteroscopy procedures.
• Ability to obtain informed consent and explain procedures.
• Ability to assess, plan and manage patients through the hysteroscopy pathway.
• Commitment to safe, compassionate patient care and professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake outpatient diagnostic hysteroscopy procedures and, where trained, operative hysteroscopy.
• Assess, investigate and manage patients referred to the hysteroscopy service.
• Obtain informed consent and discuss findings, options and follow-up.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care along the patient pathway.
• Work autonomously within clinical protocols and seek support when needed.
• Contribute to waiting time and activity targets in outpatient clinics.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses, junior doctors and the MDT.
• Participate in service development and clinical audit.
