Job summary

PFAS in the United Kingdom is seeking a Registered Nurse Functional Assessor to utilise your clinical expertise in a structured, non-shift-heavy environment, with a Monday-Friday schedule and hybrid work in Great Yarmouth.

You will conduct structured telephone, video or face-to-face assessments, explore how a claimant's condition affects daily living, review evidence, and produce high-quality reports with clinical oversight.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification as a registered adult nurse and current NMC registration.
• Eligibility to practise in the UK.
• Minimum 12 months post-qualification clinical experience.
• Membership with the relevant professional body where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured telephone, video or face-to-face assessments
• Explore how a claimant's condition impacts daily living
• Review and interpret clinical evidence
• Produce detailed, high-quality written reports
• Apply professional judgement in line with regulatory standards
• Work towards quality and productivity targets
• Deliver assessments in a respectful, fair and reassuring manner
