Job summary

Maximus in the UK is recruiting a Healthcare Practitioner – Nurse Barrow WCA. As a Nurse Functional Assessor, you will review cases and provide advice on PIP referrals, working with complaints and enquiries to support customers.

You will join a supportive training programme with ongoing mentorship, flexible working patterns including hybrid options, and the chance to contribute to improvements in healthcare assessments.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration number.
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out clinical reviews and advise case managers on complaints and enquiries related to PIP referrals.
• Provide outcomes and feedback on complaints about healthcare professionals for development and improvements.
• Assess how a disability or health condition affects daily life, handling complex physical and mental health cases.
