Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a committed Deputy Nurse Manager for a premier care home near Paisley, Renfrewshire. The role supports the Home Manager in running a busy home with nursing and nursing dementia care, ensuring high standards and compliant practice.

The position is full-time, days only, with an attractive salary and extensive benefits. You must hold an active NMC PIN and have prior Deputy/Home Manager experience to be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Deputy/Manager position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Home Manager and oversee smooth running of the Home.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for home-based vacancies.
• Monitor resident health needs and coordinate GP/professional visits as required.
• Administer prescribed medicines and maintain accurate records per policy and NMC guidelines.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety records and incident reports.
• Audit care plans to ensure accuracy and relevance to residents' needs.
• Support clinical services delivery and nursing practice in line with regulatory requirements.

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Nurse Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Paisley, Renfrewshire area. You will be working for one of UKs leading healthcare providers

This is a fantastic care home is situated in a residential area just outside Paisley offering nursing and nursing dementia care

As The Deputy Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Deputise for the Home Manager and take responsibility for delegated duties to ensure the smooth running of the Home
• Support the Home Manager, and take the lead where required, the end to end recruitment process for all Home based vacancies
• Ensure that the reporting of any ill:health amongst Residents and requests for GP/Professional visits is followed up to facilitate the appropriate care and treatment of the resident
• Administer prescribed medicines and maintain the appropriate records in line with company policies, procedures and NMC guidelines
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate records/notes (including incident reports) to meet safeguarding, health and safety and statutory legal requirements
• Audit care plans to ensure that all are accurate, up to date, and appropriate to meet residents changing needs
• Assist the Home Manager for the delivery of clinical services and nursing practice in accordance with regulatory requirements and take responsibility within their absence

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
• Good clinical skills
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home

To be considered for this position you must hold an active NMC Pin and experience in a similar position

Role

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary up to GBP26.02 per hour and the annual salary up to GBP54,121.60 per annum.
