Job Opportunity: Nurse Deputy Home Manager in Cardiff

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in Cardiff. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers.

This care home specializes in caring for adults with physical disabilities and offers ensuite rooms with ceiling hoists.

Minimum Qualification: To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff to deliver high-quality care within a safe environment.
  2. Lead nursing teams to provide person-centred care that promotes dignity, privacy, safety, independence, and equality & diversity.
  3. Support resource management, including financial aspects, and maintain high occupancy levels.
  4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
  5. Oversee the smooth operation of the transitional unit and liaise with external health professionals.
  6. Provide clinical leadership and supervision within the service.
  7. Accountable for infection control implementation and audits across the service.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  1. Experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse in a nursing home setting.
  2. Leadership experience within a team.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Proficiency in IT and confidence in computer-based work.
Salary and Benefits:

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an annual salary of £39,600. This is a permanent full-time role, working 35 hours per week, day shifts only, including 12-hour shifts as a nurse.
