Care Home Nurse - Full time & Part time - Days or Nights

Salary: £1000.00 signing bonus upon successful completion of probation

Responsibilities and Duties:
  1. Care: Ensure all staff contribute to the efficient running of the home and create an atmosphere conducive to residents' best interests. Duties may include acting up for the Home Manager in their absence.
  2. Report any ill health among clients and arrange GP or professional visits as necessary.
  3. Ensure clients' care plans are completed and maintained in collaboration with clients, relatives, and healthcare professionals, following NMC guidelines and company policies.
  4. Assess clients' care needs, provide health supervision, and deliver direct nursing care when required.
  5. Assess social and healthcare needs of new clients and review existing care plans regularly.
  6. Maintain accurate records and ensure each client has an individualised care plan, reviewed bi-monthly or more frequently as needed.
  7. Conduct regular checks on clients and provide concise handover reports at the end of each shift.
  8. Administer prescribed medicines following company procedures and NMC guidelines.
  9. Handle clients' personal and financial affairs with integrity, avoiding abuse of the privileged relationship.
  10. Communication: Participate in staff and client meetings, establish good communication with clients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team, and provide administrative support when required.
  11. Health & Safety: Report illnesses or accidents immediately, understand and implement health and safety policies, and report any hazards or faulty equipment.
