Job summary

Excelcare is recruiting a Nurse Qualified Care Manager for Windmill Lodge Care Home, Brixton, London. The role leads clinical excellence, coordinates nursing care, and drives quality outcomes across a 93-bed home in London. You will support a dedicated team, share on-call duties weekends/evenings, and uphold high standards of resident care.

Salary £62,752; 45 hours per week, Monday–Sunday. We seek an experienced Registered Nurse with active PIN, strong CQC knowledge, and proven team-building

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse – RGN, qualified with active PIN.
• Experienced in nursing/care home settings for older people.
• Extensive clinical knowledge and understanding of standards.
• Ability to build and retain hard-working, successful teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on clinical excellence and quality standards.
• Coordinate and coach staff to ensure effective nursing and care.
• Ensure continuous improvement and recording of clinical outcomes.
• Support and motivate the team to deliver high-quality care.
• Share on-call management rota at weekends and evenings with Home Manager.
