Job summary

Spectrum Community Health CIC is hiring a Registered Nurse (Band 4) to support patients at HMP Northumberland. You will undertake health assessments, ECG, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and contribute to planning and delivering care for complex needs.

As a Nursing Associate with NMC registration, you’ll work under supervision, collaborate with GP and other health professionals, and assist in delivering high-quality, safe primary care within the justice setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Band 4)
• NMC-registered nursing professional

Responsibilities

• Provide continuing care to patients across the practice population.
• ECG and phlebotomy/urinalysis as part of patient assessments.
• Assess and plan delegated care; monitor chronic conditions; escalate when necessary.
• Administer injections where required within nursing guidelines.
• Contribute to ongoing assessment and refer for reassessment when needed.
• Perform CPR according to UK guidelines; maintain infection control.
• Communicate effectively with the primary health care team.
