Job summary

Spectrum Community Health CIC is recruiting a Registered General Nurse for HMP Humber. You will deliver nurse-led clinics, administer medications, respond to emergencies, and conduct triage and health assessments within a secure environment.

You will work with primary care, mental health, and substance misuse teams, maintaining a patient-centred approach and using ongoing training to develop clinical skills and confidence.

Main duties of the job

The role includes delivering nurse-led clinics, administering medications and treatments, responding to medical emergencies, undertaking triage assessments, wound care and physical health assessments, and making referrals to specialist services where appropriate.

You will manage a varied caseload and work both independently and as part of the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive safe, effective and person-centred care.

The role requires sound clinical knowledge, good decision-making skills, excellent communication and the ability to adapt to a busy and varied healthcare environment.

You will work closely with colleagues across primary care, mental health, substance misuse services and the wider prison establishment, helping to ensure continuity of care and positive outcomes for patients.
